Let's do away with the self-absorbed one-liner.

Amanda's pretty ordinary. Like every 90s kid, she's stuck in that awkward stage where she remembers a time without computers but was forced to adapt (rather quickly) to a rapidly rising digital landscape. No problem, she's got Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and a slew of mobile apps all figured out - obviously the most important programs to know in this day and age. (She can even set up her own Wi-Fi!) Her life is controlled by a rose-gold 512GB fruit phone.

But like every 90s kid, she carries a deep sense of nostalgia for the "good ol' days" which spills over into her writing - frank, cynical, but ultimately hopeful. She aims to write articles that are relatable, and gripping stories that leave you feeling as though you just woke up from a lovely summer daydream.

Eventually, she would love to write a novel peppered with one-of-a-kind recipes, go on annual mission trips, visit Disney World, stay in an apartment that faces the city on one side and the sea on the other with her husband and her dog, and become best friends with Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, and Jennifer Lawrence, all of whom seem pretty gosh-darn down-to-earth.
